After taking a long hiatus from producing music, Lil Wayne finally resurfaced by dropping the next hottest album in the music industry, The Carter V. The Carter V was a project that started around 2013, but its development was hindered and led to many delays. Lil Wayne’s previous albums The Carter I, II, III, and IV were huge successes that had sales reaching the millions.
Carter, a playlist by Lil Wayne from desktop or your mobile device. Dropped out of performing on the I Am Music Tour due to her pregnancy, Jay-Z performed 'Mr. Carter' with Lil Wayne at select shows. Following Tha Carter III 's achievement of selling over 3 million copies, becoming 2008's best-selling record, Wayne re-signed with Cash Money Records for a multi-album deal.
In this album, we can see many collaborations with different artists ranging from different genres such as Drake, Justin Bieber, French Montana, Soulja Boy, Kendrick Lamar, Mannie Fresh, Big Sean, Christina Milian, Mike Will Made It, and more.
