Intel® SSU is a standalone utility that performs a detailed scan of your computer system information and devices. Intel SSU produces an output file that you can save, view, and share.
You can also save the scan to a file. Share the file with Intel Customer Support to help troubleshoot issues or answer questions.
See the Intel SSU Help Guide for more information.

If your network adapter plugs into your computer, the part number is on the barcode label (Refer to the Intel® Networking Products section). The part number is a six-digit number, followed by a hyphen and three more digits. The three-digit number after the hyphen is a minor revision number. You don't need it to identify your adapter.
Using this barcode example, the part number is 721383.

I would recommend that you download the latest driver from RealTek for your ethernet controller. The driver Windows 7 installed is probably either an older version or a generic driver. You could also check your motherboard manufacturer's website to see if they have posted the latest driver for the ethernet controller for your board for Windows 7. An ethernet controller, for one, cannot function without its driver installed in the computer. It usually comes with a software disc that you need to install. An ethernet controller, also called a network adapter, allows the computer to connect to a network.
